Ignition Northwest is a non-profit arts organization that was founded by a loosely-related community of artists based in Seattle and surrounding areas. We were initially brought together by our experiences at Burning Man, an annual counter-cultural festival. As our community evolved and our needs grew more complex, we desired to organize into a force for positive social change. We held a series of community meetings to discuss our needs, and these meetings eventually lead to us forming Ignition Northwest.
