KUOW Fall Pledge Drive

On a misty Sunday morning, nine intrepid Ignition Northwest membersassembled in the University District to staff a shift at the KUOW Fall Pledge Drive.

The outing was organized by Ignition Northwest board member, Heather Candelaria. Also in attendance were Ali Hosler, Brian Wise, Ivan Cockrum, Zoey and Tom Platt, Brian Retford, Colleen Kincaid, and Marshall Butler.

Most memorable moment: when Brian Wise lost the cord to his handset. Brian fumbled to reinsert the jack, and apologized to his caller... and then had to explain to the caller that his fellow volunteers were laughing at him. Brian came back with a classic save: "Thanks, I'll be here all week. Try the veal!"
