Art
A primary goal of Ignition Northwest is to foster community by facilitating participatory art — art that embodies the Burning Man spirit of both radical self-expression and cross-disciplinary collaboration. By “art” we broadly include performance, music, fire dancing, art cars, interactive sculptures, theme camp projects, and other collaborative and/or participatory installations.
We facilate art by sponsoring events with a strong artistic focus, by funding art projects, and by helping artists within the community get projects funded through groups such as the Black Rock Arts Foundation or Burning Man itself.
