SeaCompression

Held every Autumn, SeaCompression is the Pacific Northwest area’s post-Burning Man Decompression party. For one night, burners from Portland to Seattle to Vancouver gather to recreate a small slice of Burning Man in Seattle. Our selected venue is completely transformed into a gallery of art installations, mutant vehicles, and dramatic lighting, while regional burners don their best freaky costumes for a night of performance, music, and dance. It is a true multi-disciplinary arts event.

SeaCompression is a non-profit event that is organized by the community, for the community, that comes together entirely through volunteer efforts. Proceeds are used primarily to help sustain the event’s own yearly growth, and secondarily to fund local art project. 10 - 15% of all proceeds are donated to the Black Rock Arts Foundation, the grants arm of the Burning Man Organization.
