Ignition Northwest is bringing Maker Faire to Seattle!

Ignition Northwest is pleased to announce that, after many months of planning, it will be sponsoring the first annual Seattle Mini Maker Faire June 2-3, 2012 at the Seattle Center. SeaCompression Thank You's

Now that the dust has cleared and everyone involved has had time to rest up from this year's history-making SeaCompression, please let me say THANK YOU. SeaCompression 10 was the biggest and best we've ever built, filling two acres and requiring a full week of setup and tear down. Over 2,000 people braved the journey to the distant land of Byoo-Ree-En, for a night packed with art, performance, dance, and glowy lights. The list of art projects and theme camps and art cars and performers and DJs is too long to even get started on... so let me offer my personal favorite moment of the night: wandering past the stage to find Titanium Sporkestra leading a hundred person long congo line. THAT was unexpected.
