News & Announcements
Greetings, Critical Campers!
We know you've all been waiting for updates about Critical Massive, our very own home grown regional event, and we've got a big piece of news for you today. The INW Event Committee has just completed its producer selection process, and have we got a Super Team for you!
Ignition Northwest is pleased to announce that, after many months of planning, it will be sponsoring the first annual Seattle Mini Maker Faire June 2-3, 2012 at the Seattle Center. We’re especially pleased that the Faire will be held in conjunction with the Pacific Science Center’s Seattle Science Festival, June 3-10, 2012.
Ignition Northwest is pleased to announce that elections for 4 board seats begin on February 1st and continue through February 15.
Hello Community,
We all talk big goals on New Year's Eve, but Ignition Northwest allows you to actually have a huge effect on your local burner community through serving on the Ignition Northwest Board of Directors. Four seats are available this election. Is one of them yours?
Now that the dust has cleared and everyone involved has had time to rest up from this year's history-making SeaCompression, please let me say THANK YOU. SeaCompression 10 was the biggest and best we've ever built, filling two acres and requiring a full week of setup and tear down. Over 2,000 people braved the journey to the distant land of Byoo-Ree-En, for a night packed with art, performance, dance, and glowy lights. The list of art projects and theme camps and art cars and performers and DJs is too long to even get started on... so let me offer my personal favorite moment of the night: wandering past the stage to find Titanium Sporkestra leading a hundred person long congo line. THAT was unexpected.
