Highline Times, October 17, 2011: The Burning Man festival held annually in an ancient lake bed in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada is one of those things people try to explain … and then eventually give up and suggest you go there yourself to find out. Non-profit Ignition Northwest brought a shrunken version of the non-traditional festival (Nevada had over 50,000 participants in 2010) to Burien’s Town Square on Oct. 15, complete with fire, dance and art representative of the Burner community. Cyra Jane’s Art is Exploration

Another Passion, October 12, 2010: [Ignition Northwest grant recipient] Cyra Jane has an eye for textures and patterns. Intricate spirals, abstracts of lines and shapes, most are paintings but some incarnations manifest themselves as sculptures both large and small. Examining the perfectly placed pieces around her home studio in Seattle’s Pioneer Square, feels almost like a tour through Cyra’s own mind, heart and soul. Seeing her work, older pieces mixed with new work, a few recurring themes and designs begin to show. There are stories there that want to get out, and in the process they draw their audience in. A Week After the Murders on Capitol Hill, They're Dancing with a Purpose - Funding a Memorial for the Victims

The Stranger, April 6, 2006:  As with all Burning Man temples, this one will likely be "interactive" - everyone who wants to help will be allowed to. It will also be temporary.
